About the Role

This is a non-attorney, client-facing role. You will not give legal advice. You will make sure the right prospective clients find us, understand what we do, and reach the right attorney quickly — and that no lead ever goes cold because nobody followed up.

Key Responsibilities

Pipeline & Conversion

  • Own the firm's lead pipeline in Zoho CRM, including lead capture, source tagging, routing, follow-up cadences, and stage hygiene.
  • Manage the consultation funnel from inquiry to booked consultation to signed engagement, including reminder sequences, no-show recovery, and retainer follow-up.
  • Qualify inbound inquiries against firm practice areas and route them to the appropriate attorney with a clean, complete intake summary.
  • Report on conversion metrics, including lead volume by source, consultation show rate, consultation-to-retainer conversion, cost per acquisition, and revenue by channel.

Referral & Partnership Development

  • Build and maintain referral relationships with HR leaders, in-house counsel, CPAs, wealth advisors, relocation and mobility firms, staffing agencies, universities, and healthcare recruiters.
  • Develop corporate accounts for employer-sponsored immigration programs, including outreach, proposal support, and onboarding coordination.
  • Represent the firm at chambers of commerce, industry associations, trade shows, community organizations, and cultural and professional networking events.
  • Coordinate and support firm-hosted webinars, live streams, and educational seminars, including promotion, registration, and post-event follow-up.

Marketing Partnership & Systems

  • Partner with the marketing function on multilingual campaigns across English, Russian, Ukrainian, and Spanish audiences.
  • Provide field feedback on messaging, objections, pricing perception, and competitor positioning to sharpen campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data, deduplicated records, and clean reporting so leadership can make decisions from real numbers.
  • Prepare capability decks, one-pagers, and proposal materials in coordination with the attorney team.

Qualifications

Required

  • Three or more years of business development, sales, or account management experience, preferably in professional services.
  • Hands-on CRM ownership, ideally Zoho CRM, HubSpot, or Salesforce, including pipeline reporting and automation.
  • Demonstrated record of building referral relationships that produced measurable revenue.
  • Excellent interpersonal presence and the confidence to represent a law firm to executives and business owners.
  • Strong written communication and comfort presenting to groups.
  • Organized, self-directed, and comfortable being measured on outcomes.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally for meetings and events.

Preferred

  • Experience in legal, accounting, financial services, or immigration-adjacent industries.
  • Familiarity with immigration terminology and the employer sponsorship lifecycle.
  • Bilingual in English and Russian, Ukrainian, or Spanish, with fluency sufficient for professional conversation.
  • Experience with marketing automation, paid campaign reporting, or event production.
  • Established network in the Chicagoland business, immigrant, or professional services community.

Professional Responsibility Note

  • This position is non-attorney and does not involve providing legal advice, quoting legal outcomes, or setting legal strategy. All activities must comply with the Illinois Rules of Professional Conduct governing attorney advertising, solicitation, and referral arrangements. Training on these limits is provided.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation: Starting Salary 65k plus a performance-based incentive tied to signed engagements and retained revenue.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Paid time off and paid holidays.
  • Mileage and approved event, travel, and membership expense reimbursement.
  • A growth function you get to build, with direct access to firm leadership.
